If you’re going to compete in the Zhik Nautica Moth Worlds this year, rock up with your race machine and make sure it stands out. Mothapalooza™ is a new competition to find the moth with the most personality and style.
 
Express your individuality, personality, character and distinctiveness through your own unique creativity. Make your moth represent something great, and then sail it proudly. Three independent judges will score each competitor’s Mothapalooza™ boat, sail, and clothing, and how well it all integrates together. So get to work and you could win 5,000 Euro cash.

1st Prize – €5,000 Euro cash
2nd Prize – Complete Zhik Kit, worth over €1,200 Euro
3rd Prize – Complete Zhik Kit, worth over €1,200 Euro
Peoples Choice – Complete Zhik Kit, worth over €1,200 Euro
Peoples Prize – €1,000 Euro of Zhik gear chosen from www.zhik.com

Prizes will be announced on the Friday August 24, two days before the completion of the regatta.
 
Judges will score from what they see in the boat park and on the water during the event. There will also be a People’s choice prize, and competitors will be able to enter for that by submitting photos, video, text, music, or whatever they like to entry@mothapalooza.com. Entries will go live and voters can poll one week before the regatta starts.
 
There is also a prize for the voters, A People’s Prize will be drawn from those who correctly predict the 1st placed Mothapalooza™ as scored by the independent judges. Please read the rules section for more info.
